Oxygen - Our Biggest Debt Today?

OUR GOAL:

A crisis has enveloped the country; An overwhelming and quantum leap in COVID-19 cases has translated to immense shortages in hospitals and healthcare facilities. The situation has become so dire that hospitals have run out of rudimentary essentials required for the basic survival of patients. These unprecedented and dark times call for drastic measures. Alleviate joined this fight to make an impact and avert this crisis at hand by saving as many lives as possible. Our first plan of action is to dive into the most grave issues present: lack of oxygen. We know that donors will have some scepticism in their mind about the security of the funds they will be contributing. Thus, we have decided to build our authenticity by commencing our fundraiser on the GiveIndia website, a renown and reputed company. With these donations, we plan to buy as many oxygen concentrators possible from a supplier with whom we have already established contact. During this process, we also intend to connect with an NGO who will then be crucial in the logistics of the oxygen concentrators to hospitals. After the fundraiser collects enough money, GiveIndia will pay the money basis of the invoice of the supplier. The oxygen concentrators will be distributed to the NGO, who will then pass it on to hospitals in urgent need of oxygen.

OUR ACHIEVEMENT :

A Thanks to the help of our generous donors, we managed to collect over 2 lakhs. With this amount of money, we were able to obtain 3 oxygen concentrators. We donated two of them to the police force, which will then be given to hospitals that are in urgent requirement of them, and if needed, to covid inflicted police officers serving in the field ensuring the safety of all of us. The last one had been delivered to St Mary's hospital, Malur as they had been in grave need of oxygen ever since the second wave rained upon India.
